2019 Done and Dusted!

Out with the old and in with the new!!

2019, my foundation laying year. It’s been a ride. Many days I thought of giving up but somehow I would get a text or call saying, please don’t stop what you are doing. We need to hear your voice.

This year has had incredible highs and lows, built by my lessons and experiences, my character developed, and I am a still a student of life, I learn and discover every day. 2019 showed me a lot and I sure have learnt a thing or two.

Starting my business and building my brand has allowed me to grow, it has broadened my thinking, took me out of my shell, I stepped into unfamiliar territory a lot but I allowed myself to learn and soak up as much as I could. When you step away from the norm and follow your dreams and passion, you discover who has your back, who supports you and who you can depend.

To every one who has supported me, my blog and my brand, thank you. I appreciate every like, comment, call and email. Thank you.

To those who spoke negatively, who threw shade (yes, I see you), those who hoped I didn’t make it, who didn’t want me to be a part of their circles thank you, you surely pushed me out of my comfort zone.

To my biggest cheerleaders, my person R and my squad, I Love you guys and I appreciate your understanding and your support.

2020, now that the foundation has been laid its time to build. My mind cannot begin to comprehend what is going to happen. I am ready to work even harder than I did in 2019. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support.

Now, for my big announcement. The big news. I am so humbled, honored and beyond excited to be the blogger and social media manager for an NGO, Proteahaven. Proteahaven is a 501(c)(3) health, empowerment and social justice non-profit founded by women with a simple mission: To heal, support and provide assistance to women and children traumatized by violence and abuse in South Africa. ProteaHaven is helping fight for women who’s been forgotten who doesn’t have anyone helping them when they go to the police station file a claim and are being told we can’t help you. We are going to be their voice and will do whatever it takes to let them know they too do matter.

To be a part of this Incredible initiative, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my 2019 and to begin 2020, a new decade.
