Today our eldest son, Ethan writes his last exam paper as a primary school learner, and he has his Gr7 farewell.
What a journey! We have watched him grow from an unsure tearful little 1st grader to a man who knows what he wants.
We thank God for blessing us with this gentle spirit. We pray that we will always do what is right for him and that God’s hand will continue to rest on him.
Moving over to high school, we left the choice up to him and boy did he blow us away. Parktown boys, what an Incredible school of brotherhood, discipline and being a gentleman.
To the ending of one journey to the beginning of a new chapter of you stepping into your destiny and owning your throne.
Today as your parents we salute you son for the man you are and for the one your still going to become. We are so proud to be your parents.
Thank you for being such a wonderful big brother to your siblings and an Incredible human being. You set the bar, son.
Time to show the world who Ethan Dugan Phillips is.
We love you son. And we are Immensely proud of you. We will always be your biggest and loudest cheerleaders. We will be with you every step of the way.
Always remember:
1. We love you.
2. You are enough.
3. We are proud of you.
4. We are sorry if we failed you at times.
5. We forgive you for dropping the ball
6. We are here to listen to you
7. You are responsible
8. You’ve got what it takes
9. You are worthy.
With love,
Mom and Dad💜❤.

Even the small ones. Every day should be a celebration. We move through life so quickly forgetting to slow down and celebrate those milestones big and small.
