Do you date yourself?

Dating yourself? Do you?
Do you spend time with yourself?

Do you enjoy your own company?
Do you date yourself?
Do you take yourself out?
Now theirs questions every woman needs to ask herself.

When people talk about dating yourself it can sound depressing. Like you have no friends, no man, no one wants you, and now you have resorted to going out on a date with yourself because you have no one to hang out with.

If you look at dating yourself that way then that is how you will come across, as a desperate lonely person with no friends and no man. Instead, you need to look at dating yourself as something different. Something fun, a chance to have fun with yourself, do what you want, and you give yourself what you deserve.

It is so important to take time out for you. I’ve recently discovered that I absolutely love my own company. I love taking myself out for a coffee, breakfast or lunch. I do this before I pick up the squad from school.

We are just as important as the date nights we plan with our partners and the quality time we spend with our kids.

Why should you spend time with yourself, you may ask?

When you spend time alone, you get to focus on your own thoughts and feelings — and no one else’s. You don’t have to take anyone else’s needs into account — only your own. Spending time alone is a form of self-care.

Spending Time Alone Will Make You More Confident. Unconfident people often rely on others to help with decisions, but spending time alone encourages you to make decisions for yourself.

When you are alone, you can ignore other people’s opinions and ideas so that you can really focus on your own thoughts.

Spending time alone can give you a chance to ensure there’s a purpose to all of your hustling and bustling. Quiet space provides an opportunity think about your goals, your progress, and changes you want to make in your life.

Being alone helps you become more comfortable in your own skin.

If you aren’t spending time with yourself yet, it’s time. The relationship with yourself is your biggest and best investment.

You are the fountain of life. You are a resilient river that travels long distance, carrying everything on your shoulders but finally reaching your destination.

Take care of yourself mama’s.

Your mental health, physical health, emotional health should be your priority. You matter mom.💜💗

  1. I love this post. Self-care and taking time for oneself is important. And even when you’re alone that doesn’t mean that you have to be lonely. Alone time is a great time to think through goals and make plans for the future. It’s also a good way to just enjoy being.
