Introduction:

My name is Dalene Dominique Sylvester. I hail from the United States of Eldorado Park, South Africa. I am happily single.

I am a bubbly, happy & crazy human being.

What is your day job and what do you love most about it?

I am a self-employed caterer, event planner, self-taught cook & also the CEO of an ICT company(telecommunication)

I love being self-employed it’s a constant thrill.

What has motherhood taught you?

Well being the mother to three beautiful kids, has it’s ups and downs. Motherhood has definitely taught me to love.

What inspires you?

Music, successful people. I draw inspiration from fashion, home decor, gardening, books, film, there’s a lot more I guess. I could literally go on and on. 🤦🏽‍♀

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is to be alive and not be able to live life.

What is your mom struggle?

Seeing my kids grow up in this crazy world and not know who they may or may not become.

How do you de-stress after a long day?

I absolutely love shopping of any kind, shopping and more shopping.

What is your get up and go song in the morning?

What is the most difficult challenge you’ve ever had to overcome and how did you overcome it?

Giving up on my family in it’s form of completion. I realized that I still have my babies and not all is lost. I also drew closer to God during this very tumultuous phase of my life.

If you could be any animal, which would it be and why?

A bird definitely, because I would not have to worry about having to sow or reap or store away in barns. I would fly free.

Which person in the bible do you mostly relate to? And why?

The book of Job. It discusses why God allows pain & suffering.
